DP Spanish Teacher – Madison International School Mérida

Position Overview:
Madison International School is seeking a passionate and experienced DP Spanish Teacher to join our dynamic team at the Mérida campus. Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging Spanish Language lessons aligned with the IB Diploma Programme framework.
• Design assessments and learning experiences that promote critical thinking, communication, and cultural awareness.
• Support students in developing strong written and oral Spanish skills for academic and real-world contexts.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure vertical and horizontal curriculum alignment across the IB continuum.
• Contribute to the school’s mission through participation in professional development, school events, and community initiatives.
• Provide academic guidance and mentorship to DP students, including support for internal assessments and exam preparation.
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Spanish Language, Literature, Education, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• Teaching certification or equivalent professional qualification.
• Minimum 3 years of experience teaching Spanish at the high school level; IB DP experience strongly preferred.
• Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English.
• Strong understanding of IB philosophy and international education practices.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
• Willingness to relocate to Mérida and contribute to a vibrant school community.
