Job Description:

Aldar Education is currently seeking an outstanding EAL Lead Teacher at Mamoura British Academy in Abu Dhabi commencing in the 2024-2025 academic year. This role will be a through-school role supporting students from FS to Year 13.

Mamoura British Academy is a British curriculum, mixed gender school until Year 8 and a girl’s only school from Year 9 onwards. It is located in a state-of-the-art building in the heart of Abu Dhabi. We strive for excellence in all that we do through our high expectations and commitment to ensuring that we provide high-quality learning opportunities for our students. About the School:

Al Mamoura Academy has a mixed Primary School and a girls-only Secondary School. Al Mamoura is proud to be accredited by British Schools Overseas (BSO).

In our Nursery and Foundation Stage we follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), we use the EYFS Framework which sets standards for the learning, development, and care of all of our children. In Years 1 and 2 we aim to provide a successful, seamless transition from the EYFS curriculum into the English National Curriculum. From Years 3 – 9, our Middle School learning program is an outstanding bespoke international curriculum that is designed to meet the developmental needs of young minds. In Year 9 our students start their decision-making process for their option years (Years 10-13) whether it will be English National Curriculum or US Curriculum.
