Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
Teaching experience is required.
Instructor candidates must demonstrate a minimum proficiency level of Berlitz Level 7 (equivalent CEF Level B1.3) in the target language(s) to teach for Berlitz 
Exceptional communication skills.
Basic administrative skills, and computer knowledge to deliver lessons, and maintain student records.

Job Description:

Berlitz Languages, a leader in language education has an immediate need for an English Instructor. Ideally, the candidate will have a strong background in English literature and language, with experience teaching adults and children. This “face-to-face” position consists of three programs, Adult private and group programs, Total Immersion, and Kids’ private programs. The ideal candidate needs to be available from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. The candidate must live within a commutable distance of Tucson, AZ. The candidate will travel to our customer’s residence to provide the language lessons.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities:

Deliver lessons by Berlitz teaching principles: focusing on the goals, needs, and interests of students
Responsible for keeping student pedagogical and attendance records up to date   
Integrate learning technology into teaching programs and maintain shared teaching resource materials  
Travel to clients' homes to deliver lessons

Essential Physical Functions:  While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, and exert up to 10 pounds of force occasionally to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects. 

Salary: $20.00 per hour ($15.00 per unit) + mileage for travel
