About the Role
At CAN!P English School, we nurture children’s curiosity, creativity, and motivation to learn. We are seeking enthusiastic teachers who can inspire children’s natural “I want to try!” moments—not through rote teaching, but by guiding and encouraging each child with empathy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach English lessons to children ages 0–5 at our affiliated nursery and kindergarten
- Provide small-group English lessons (approx. 15 students) to elementary school children
- Teach phonics, conversation, and basic reading and writing skills
- Plan and lead engaging activities using STEAM-based approaches tailored to children’s interests
- Play with children both indoors and outdoors, supporting social and emotional growth
- Connect children to the community through real-life English experiences such as shopping or riding public transportation
- Encourage and support children through empathetic communication
School Environment
CAN!P English School is more than just an English classroom—it is a place where children learn by doing, creating, and expressing themselves. Through project-based learning, hands-on crafts, cooking, art, and experiments, children use English in meaningful and joyful ways.
Our classes are intentionally small, with about 15 students per group, allowing teachers to build deeper connections with each child. We believe in respecting children’s voices and providing an alternative to one-size-fits-all or cram-style teaching.
Located in Fukuoka, one of Japan’s most livable and vibrant cities, CAN!P offers teachers a supportive work environment with professional growth opportunities, as well as a welcoming and family-like atmosphere.
