King’s College Panama, an Inspired premium school, is seeking an experienced a EYFS Teacher to join our growing EYFS Department. Our EYFS teachers drive excellence in early years education at our state-of-the-art campus, uniquely positioned between the Panamanian rainforest and the vibrant city.
In this role, you will be responsible for engaging and supporting our Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum, fostering a nurturing and engaging learning environment, and ensuring the highest standards of teaching and learning. You will work alongside a team of dedicated educators to inspire young learners and support their holistic development.
We are looking for an exceptional early years teacher to join our EYFS division. The ideal candidate will bring creativity, innovation, and a forward-thinking approach to curriculum development, pedagogy, and leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan rich and stimulating learning activities that achieve good progression in pupils’ understanding.
- Create a high quality, rich, stimulating and enabling learning environment containing items that will capture pupils’ attention and lead to independent exploration.
- Make effective use of assessment information on pupils’ attainment and progress when teaching and in planning future learning.
- Plan opportunities to develop pupils’ spiritual, moral, social and cultural development.
- Ensure effective teaching of the whole class, and of groups and individuals within the wholeclass setting, so that learning objectives are met and pupils’ learning time is used efficiently.
- Set high expectations for pupils’ behaviour, establishing and maintaining a good standard of discipline through well focused, engaging teaching and through positive and productive relationships.
- Establish a safe, clean and secure learning environment which promotes pupils’ confidence.
Ideal candidate:
- QTS with post qualification experience within EYFS
- Passionate and creative teaching style
- Experience of teaching in an independent school (desirable)
- Interest in Panama and life in LATAM
