Job Description
Ajyal American School is seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Primary to lead our elementary division (Grade1 to 5). The ideal candidate will have a proven record of instructional leadership, curriculum development, and staff management within an American or international school context.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead teaching and learning aligned with the American Common Core and UAE Ministry curriculum
- Oversee staff performance, professional development, and student wellbeing
- Ensure compliance with ADEK standards and support inspection readiness
- Foster a positive, inclusive school culture and strong parent partnerships
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Education or Leadership.
- 8+ years of teaching experience, 3+ years in school leadership
- Strong knowledge of American curriculum and UAE education standards
- Excellent communication, data analysis, and team-building skills
