A leading international school in Warsaw, Poland is currently recruiting a Childcare Development Supervisor. 

We are a unique truly international trilingual school with teachers & personnel coming from 25 countries. Our students are from various backgrounds, cultures, and languages. The nursery section delivers care and education to almost 130 students aged 1 to 3, the Preschool section delivers care and education to almost 130 students aged 4 to 5, and Primary and Middle School has almost 300 students. The Preschool section is located with a nursery in the same buildings and comprises 3 campuses where 2 located in Warsaw and one in Cracow.

We are looking for candidates who believe that education starts at a very early stage - 1-year-old - and who are convinced that language immersion in early years is one of the most important life-long assets for students.

 

Responsibilities:

Communication with the parents:  

  • Maintain up-to-date communication aiming to engage parents in their child’s education and cooperate with them on the development and progression of the Child 
  • Create and support in the cooperation with the Team Leaders the structure for fluid and efficient communication with the parents 
  • Liaise with parents to ensure they are kept abreast with their child’s progress Record children’s progress, update and maintain all records and portfolios 
  • Maintain a generally low dropout of students and participate in growing targeted classes 

Teachers’ management:

  • Manage the teachers commonly with the team of Lead Teachers 
  • Develop the training structure for and participate actively in the improvement of competencies of the teachers’ body 
  • Maintain a generally low teachers turnover rate and advise when change is needed 
  • Support and advise the Recruitment Department in their recruitment of teachers for the preschool department 
  • Assure the structure for the organization and day-to-day nursery and preschool functioning in cooperation with the Team Leaders 
  • Create stimulating learning environments for children based on their capabilities and interests and support them in their learning and development 
  • Develop the communication structure for and reinforce communication on teaching and learning evidence 

School-specific professional roles:  

  • Implement and improve the innovative educational trilingual program based on the school values and the school's unique trilingual curriculum 
  • Maintain and develop the structure for pastoral and academic care 
  • Maintain, develop and strengthen the school’s values such as multiculturalism, multilingualism, respect, tolerance, and a strong belief in education 
  • Making an active contribution to the policies and school development plans 
  • Coordinate pedagogical action plans with the other school sections: Nursery, Primary and Middle School, Board, and with the independent Administrative Department

What we do?

The International Trilingual School of Warsaw provides a comprehensive curriculum built on abilities, methods, concepts, knowledge, and application. Students are encouraged to develop their critical thinking, academic, and social skills.


Each student who attends The International Trilingual School of Warsaw, is emerged in 3 languages. This means our students learn subject matter in 3 different languages, essentially as native speakers. In the nursery and preschool curriculum is proportionally taught in three languages but following common standards applied for early education. A student graduation from ITSW can continue his/her studies in any system,in any country because of the curriculums around the world that ITSW follows.

All of our teaching and classroom support staff are qualified, experienced and hold a recognized university degree in their chosen field as well as an appropriate teaching qualification. Around 80% of the instructors on staff at ITSW are from abroad.
