About the role:UCSI International School Sdn. Bhd. is seeking an experienced Mandarin Teacher to join our team in Port Dickson, Negeri Sembilan. As a full-time Mandarin Teacher, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality Mandarin language education to our secondary school students. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic international school environment and contribute to the academic and personal growth of our students.
What you'll be doing:
- Plan and deliver engaging Chinese language lessons to IB DP level students.
- Develop and implement effective teaching strategies to cater to students' diverse learning needs.
- Assess student progress and provide regular feedback to support their language development.
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to enhance the Mandarin language curriculum and teaching resources.
- Participate in extracurricular activities and school events to support the overall educational experience.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to student progress and learning outcomes.
What we're looking for:
- A degree in Mandarin language or a related field.
- Minimum 2-5 years of experience teaching Chinese/Mandarin language to IB DP level students.
- Strong command of the Chinese/Mandarin language, both written and spoken.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Ability to create and implement innovative teaching methods to foster student learning and engagement.
- Adaptability and flexibility to work in a dynamic, multicultural school environment.
- Passion for education and a commitment to enhancing the learning experience of students.
