About you:

You will be able to adapt quickly to our fast-paced international environment, you will possess a university degree; a BA in Education and/or Teacher Certification, a recognized teaching qualification, and teaching experience. Committed and creative, you will be reflective on your teaching and student outcomes, seeking out and implementing new ideas and innovative methods to raise the school’s level of achievement.

Skills: Planning, Organization, Classroom Management, Leadership and Initiative.  Ability to Communicate in English Fluently.

Knowledge: Content Knowledge: Certification that Recognizes Expertise in Elementary Level Content in the Areas of Language Arts, Math, General Earth Science, Health, and Social Studies.

Pedagogic Knowledge: Certification that Recognizes Expertise in Elementary Level Teaching Strategies, Group Control, and Classroom Management.

Experience: A minimum of two years teaching experience.

Keen to collaborate and share your specialist expertise, you will be a fitting ambassador for the school. You will communicate with confidence across diverse audiences and situations, using your expertise to build strong relationships with parents and students. You will also be able to meet visa-related restrictions for Mexico.

Middle School Foreign Teacher is responsible for educating students using a variety of interactive instructional strategies to motivate and promote lifelong learning.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, design, and implement various teaching strategies and methods according to the age group and curriculum objectives.
  • Organize learning resources and activities to enrich the teaching/learning process.
  • Evaluate, monitor, record, and report student progress providing students and parents with appropriate feedback.
  • Develop personally and professionally via the Professional Growth Plan process.
  • Contribute and behave according to San Roberto’s mission and beliefs.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all pupils. And the willingness to undertake appropriate child protection training when required.
