About BASIS Bilingual Kindergarten Nanshan
BASIS Bilingual Kindergarten Nanshan opened in the fall of 2024 and became the first ECE-specific bilingual school in our network. Located in Shenzhen, China, the Nanshan neighborhood is known for being the home of Shenzhen High-Tech Industrial Park, which comprises some of China's largest technology companies and the establishments of well-known international companies, as well as being one of the nation's richest districts. The early childhood classroom is carefully designed to encourage a child's natural curiosity to create, discover, and ask questions. Our Early Childhood teachers adopt a collaborative, co-teaching approach to enhance student engagement and learning opportunities. The Subject Expert Teacher (SET) and Learning Enhancement Teacher (LET) partner to introduce ideas and ensure every student receives deep subject knowledge, personalized support, and appropriate engagement.
As an Early Childhood Subject Expert Teacher, you help cultivate a joyful, rigorous learning environment rich in child-initiated play that inspires students to become enthusiastic, life-long learners. BASIS Early Education Center Nanshan is located in Shenzhen, China. It is easy to get around town, as there are metro and bus lines all over just as there are in all areas of Shenzhen. The Chiwan neighborhood (with some of the district's main historic sites) is served by a free minibus which goes from Chiwan metro station past Tianhou Temple and the Tomb of the Young Song Emperor. It claims to operate every 20 minutes.
Nanshan is a very outgoing community, where international artist communities like to gather, has multiple amusement parks, historic sites, and more.
Nanshan district also includes Shekou, on metro line 2, the expat neighborhood with everything Western that you might be accustomed to as well as the main ferry terminal.
