Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts, Digital Arts, Visual Arts, Art Education, or a related field
- Specialized coursework or training in digital art software and techniques
- Proficiency in industry-standard digital art software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Autodesk Maya, Procreate, or similar programs
- Familiarity with digital drawing tablets, graphics tablets, and other digital art tools
- Strong understanding of art fundamentals including composition, color theory, and perspective
- Knowledge of current trends and developments in digital art and technology
- Previous teaching experience preferred, particularly in middle school or high school settings

EGA is seeking a passionate and innovative Digital Art Teacher to join our MYP Department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in digital art techniques, software proficiency, and a commitment to fostering creativity and technical skill development in students.
As a Digital Art Teacher, you will design and deliver an engaging curriculum, provide hands-on instruction in digital art tools and techniques, and facilitate student projects that showcase their artistic talents. You will collaborate with colleagues to integrate digital art across the curriculum and participate in school-wide events and initiatives.
Additionally, you will mentor and support students as they explore their interests and pursue advanced studies in digital art. The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a student-centered approach to teaching, and a dedication to promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.
BACKGROUND
Etqan Global Academy (EGA) is Canadian leadership led IB PYP accredited school, an IB MYP Candidate, and a CIS member school that offers an advanced education model in Doha, Qatar in addition to the Qatari Curriculum for the Arabic Language, Islamic, and Social Studies. As of the academic year 2025/2026, we provide schooling to Pre-KG to Grade 10 students, and we plan for natural growth up to grade 12 in successive years.
