We are seeking an enthusiastic and versatile Math & Science Teacher to join our vibrant international school community. The ideal candidate will deliver engaging and challenging lessons in both mathematics and science across the Primary Years Programme (PYP) and Middle Years Programme (MYP). The teacher will inspire students to think critically, ask questions, and apply their learning to the real world, in line with the IB philosophy and inquiry-based approach.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons in mathematics and science for PYP and MYP students.
- Design lessons that integrate IB frameworks, fostering inquiry, exploration, and interdisciplinary connections.
- Develop students’ skills in numeracy, scientific reasoning, problem-solving, and analytical thinking.
- Use a range of assessment strategies to monitor and support student progress.
- Differentiate instruction to cater to diverse learning needs and abilities.
- Create a positive, engaging, and safe classroom environment that promotes collaboration and curiosity.
- Organize and supervise science experiments, investigations, and real-world applications.
- Collaborate with colleagues on interdisciplinary units and school initiatives.

BACKGROUND
Etqan Global Academy (EGA) is Canadian leadership led IB PYP accredited school, an IB MYP Candidate, and a CIS member school that offers an advanced education model in Doha, Qatar in addition to the Qatari Curriculum for the Arabic Language, Islamic, and Social Studies. As of the academic year 2025/2026, we provide schooling to Pre-KG to Grade 10 students, and we plan for natural growth up to grade 12 in successive years.
