Position Overview: We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Drama Teacher to join our dedicated team of educators. The Drama Teacher will play a pivotal role in shaping our students' artistic and creative growth while fostering a love for drama, storytelling, and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement engaging drama curriculum that aligns with the school's educational philosophy and standards.
Create an inclusive and supportive learning environment that encourages students to express themselves creatively.
Teach fundamental drama skills, techniques, and concepts, fostering students' self-confidence and communication abilities.
Organize and direct performances, plays, and other dramatic presentations to showcase students' talents and skills.
Collaborate with colleagues to integrate drama into cross-disciplinary projects and activities.
Provide constructive feedback and assessments to guide students' artistic growth and development.
Cultivate a safe and respectful classroom environment where diverse perspectives and voices are celebrated.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Drama, Performing Arts, or related field (Master's preferred).
Teaching certification or equivalent qualification.
Proven experience in teaching drama to students of varying ages.
Strong passion for drama, theater, and the performing arts.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
