The ability to be flexible and patient with recovery is essential as the ability to deal with poor and at-risk students with special needs and at-risk families, many of whom are not knowledgeable about special education. We are a school immersed in SEL, nurturing, ECO activities, hands-on activities, and functional and prevocational skills from early childhood to adulthood. We have placed most of our graduates in community jobs where they succeed and opened a small transitional living/sheltered workshop for those who cannot. Our purpose is to increase the skills of each student in all areas to the extent that is possible and to support them take their rightful place in their community.
