Position Overview
We are seeking a passionate and qualified Early Years Homeroom Teacher to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for guiding children aged 4–5 in their social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through inquiry-based learning within the IB PYP framework.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to Early Years learners.
- Support holistic development and well-being of each child.
- Foster an inclusive and caring classroom environment.
- Use formative and summative assessments to monitor and support progress.
- Communicate regularly with parents and colleagues about student learning.
- Collaborate with the Early Years and PYP team to ensure alignment with the IB curriculum.
- Implement inquiry-based learning approaches in line with the IB PYP framework.
- Integrate transdisciplinary themes into classroom activities.
- Model and promote the IB Learner Profile attributes.
- Participate in collaborative planning and professional reflection within the PYP team.
