Math Subject Lead

Bright Learners Private School, an esteemed American school in Dubai, is seeking a passionate and dedicated Math Subject Lead to join our dynamic leadership team of highly qualified professionals. 

Currently serving students from Pre-K through Grade 6, the school will expand organically, reaching up to Grade 12 in the coming years.

As a member of the Middle Leadership Team, the Math Lead will develop a mission, vision, and objectives for the Math department.  Math Lead will support the Principal in actualizing the school's mission, vision, and core values. The successful candidate will collaborate and contribute to the development, writing, and implementation of the school improvement plan for Math subjects.

Math Lead will ensure all teaching staff understand, follow, and support school objectives, school policies, and practices (these include, but are not limited to, the Curriculum policy, Framework for Learning & Teaching, Assessment policy, Marking & Feedback Policy, Student support services, Inclusion, and RTI)

Math Lead will provide professional leadership and management of Math programs to secure high-quality teaching, the effective use of resources, and improved standards of learning and achievement for all students.  Model and promote best practices in teaching and learning for assigned subjects.  Establish, evaluate, and develop the academic aims and standards for specific subjects taught in English (CCSS curriculum).  Provides organizational & instructional leadership and support to teachers in Primary & Middle school and holds teachers accountable for the overall development, implementation, and delivery of the curriculum and in meeting ambitious student achievement goals.
