Job Description:

Liwa Education is looking to hire an outstanding Science Laboratory Technician to join our growing and dynamic team at Liwa International School for Girls for the Academic year 2023-24 start.

Responsibilities:

Ensuring the safety of students and staff in the lab.
Ensuring that Lab Rules are understood and followed by students and staff.
To wear the safety goggles provided at all times when preparing/moving/using chemicals.
Liaising with teaching staff to ensure that any required preparations are made,
Responding to any requests efficiently and informing staff of any problems in advance.
Maintenance, tidiness and organization of labs and equipment.
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of equipment (hard and soft copies).
Recording equipment borrowed from the lab and ensuring its safe return.
Recording any breakages.
Checking new equipment deliveries, storing items, and updating records.
Liaising with the Heads of Departments and keeping them informed as appropriate Regarding all of the above.
When the lab workload allows, the technicians are to assist the school administration as requested by the Head of Admin.
