Job Description

Position Summary:

The Career Counselor will pledge his/her commitment to help the School achieve its mission, goals, and vision; value community; bring a spirit of enthusiasm, energy, and willingness to take thoughtful initiative in a collaborative setting. The Career Counselor should be committed to furthering the intellectual and personal development of students. He will assist students with personal, family, educational, mental health, or career problems. The Career Counselor will advocate for students and work with other individuals and organizations to promote the student's academic, career, personal, and social development.

Qualifications:

  • A UAE MOFA attested Bachelor’s degree in Social work, Psychology or Sociology and/or related field from an accredited institution. A Master’s Degree in counseling is preferred.
  • A minimum of two years of counseling experience in an educational setting (preferred in UAE).
  • Fluent in English & Arabic languages written and spoken.
  • Excellent IT skills, organizational skills, problem-solving skills, and ability to deal positively with students.
  • IELTS 7.5 or TOEFL equivalent (mandatory for non-native English-speaking teachers in English-taught subjects)

Requirements:

  • Preference will be given to candidates currently based in the UAE.
  • Overseas applicants must have all documents attested and provide a valid police clearance certificate (issued within the last three months).
