Responsibilities:
- The Elementary Counselor works to ensure student well-being by providing short-term support to students experiencing anxiety or distress, family crisis, or trauma.
- The Elementary Counselor also provides generation-level lesson plans on both SEL and wellbeing topics, and small group counseling and intervention for a particular student need.
- The Elementary Counselor collaborates with teachers and other members of the Support Services Team to provide appropriate and timely support, guided by the goals and identified needs of individual students in alignment with the school’s mission and vision.
