Job Description:

American STEM Education is proud to promote and support the hiring for American STEM Prep Songdo's 2023-2024 school year! American STEM Prep - Songdo (ASP-S) is an international ASP school located in Songdo, South Korea. ASP-S opened as a certified American STEM Education (ASE) member based in the United States in the fall of 2023. ASP-S is looking for an elementary Engineering and Technology teacher. Teachers will use a curriculum that focuses on robotics, coding, 3D printing, and circuits. The school features a fully equipped maker space with a variety of state-of-the-art educational materials.

Successful teachers will lead students toward student achievement goals, be responsible for a positive school culture, and provide purposeful collaboration with teachers, school personnel, and the community.

Working conditions and benefits:

Work start date: July / August 2023
End date: June 2024 (employment contract can be renewed)
Hours: Mon to Fri, 8 am to 5 pm
Classes: maximum of 25 periods of 45 minutes per week
Lead an after-class activity, such as robotics club, math club, reading club, drama club, science club, yoga, etc. (activities end at 4:25 pm)
