Responsibilities:

  • Plan and implement lessons based on the Maple Bear curriculum.
  • Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to guide their improvement.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive and supportive teaching environment.
  • Engage with students and parents during school events and activities.
  • Participate in all relevant professional development programs to enhance teaching skills and stay updated on educational best practices.

Curriculum Delivery:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons through our curriculum.
  • Adapt teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of students while incorporating cultural awareness.
  • Develop assessments, assignments, and projects that align with learning objectives.

Student Development:

  • Foster a supportive, inclusive, and respectful classroom environment.
  • Monitor student progress through regular assessments and provide timely feedback.
  • Support students’ social, emotional, and academic growth.

Classroom Management:

  • Maintain a well-managed, organized, and safe classroom environment.
  • Implement school-wide policies and behavioral guidelines.
  • Ensure that students adhere to school rules and create a positive learning atmosphere.

Professional Development:

  • Participate in ongoing professional development activities and workshops.
  • Stay updated on educational best practices and integrate them into teaching.
  • Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to improve teaching strategies and curriculum planning.

Cultural Adaptation:

  • Be aware of and sensitive to Korean culture, traditions, and values.
  • Encourage cross-cultural understanding among students and colleagues.
  • Integrate global perspectives in teaching, while respecting the local context.
