Job Description:

We are an upcoming international Secondary school , dedicated to providing British curriculum in the heart of Dushanbe,Tajikistan.We have learners from age 3 to 16. Our students take iGCSE in yr 10 or 11 as per their level of preparation and readiness.

Being an international school catering to the expat community in the city, all our staff members must practice religious and cultural sensitivity at all times. As a secondary school English teacher, you will be shouldering the responsibilities of being a homeroom teacher, subject teacher and Head of English Department . You will be required to prepare students for iGCSE, internal exams, olympiads, English week activities, etc. You must also engage students in extracurricular activities at least twice a week.

The climate has hot-dry summers and winters with mild occasional snowfall. Almost all of the country (93 percent) is mountainous with river valleys running across. However, high altitude mountains of Pamirs are in the eastern part of the country, (which is the west end of the Himalayas). The climate there is semi-arid to polar. The mountains are between 3,600 to 4,400 metres (11,800 to 14,400 ft) high.
