Middle & High School English Teacher

Ittihad Schools are looking for highly qualified, experienced and committed Middle school and High school English teachers for the 2020-2021 school year. The ideal candidate will be someone that is a Native English speaker, experienced with American Common Core curriculum, innovative, enthusiastic and looking for the opportunity to prepare students for a successful future.

Performance Responsibilities:

Model correct use of English language, oral and written
Develops differentiated lesson plans to meet the needs of all learners including EAL learners, learners with special needs, Gifted & Talented students, and struggling learners
Plans, prepares and delivers student-centered instruction with engaging activities that provide meaningful experiences
Creates American Common Core standards-based lesson plans with clear learning intentions and success criteria
Effective use of student data to inform instruction
Ongoing effective use of assessment of, for, and as learning
Effective monitoring of student progress and individual target setting
Monitoring of students' performance and behavior
Attends faculty meetings and training sessions
Participate in Professional Learning Communities as an action researcher
