Qualifications:

  • Excellent command of the Arabic language (native speakers) for the Arabic language teachers.
  • Excellent knowledge and application of the Quran recitation rules ( for the Quran teachers).
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills (English and Arabic) and effective computer use.
  • Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, and attention to detail-skills.
  • Excellent teaching skills to ensure students gain the most educational benefit.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver lessons to students according to the lesson plan and pacing chart of the Academy and meet curricular expectations.
  • Maintain a fun and caring environment that nurtures children and parents and reflects Islamic values.
  • Prepare first/final exams, quarterly tests, projects, worksheets, and grading rubrics.
  • Communicate with the subject coordinator professionally, e.g., proofreading tests, any curriculum issues, class rules, and testing standards.
  • Attend Parent-Teacher interviews, meetings, Professional Development sessions, and other relevant functions.
  • Submit report cards, notes to parents, yearly plans, weekly lesson plans, attendance sheets, and other related documents.
  • Communicate with parents and professionally answer their questions.
  • Act as a role model for students in dress code and behavior.
  • Ensuring the classroom is as clean and organized as we received it in the morning.
  • Ensure a quiet learning environment with no distractions during physical or online instruction.
