The Position Summary:

• To maintain the school building to its best possible condition with regards to Health, Safety, Security and cleanliness.

Competency Required:

• Excellent interpersonal relationships and communication skills

• Excellent people management skills

• Calm in all situations and able to delegate to team members

• Experience of working within or with a school/educational setting

• A strong knowledge base of Health and Safety in Schools

• Working knowledge of maintenance skills e.g. Electrics Plumbing Carpentry

• The ability to explain issues and requirements to School Senior Team & Head Office.

• Well organized and good at making decisions so that work plans and schedules reflect the needs of the school

• Ability to manage and distribute resources in the most cost-efficient ways

• A knowledge of Security and Cleaning with effective management of contractors

• Proficient in Microsoft packages such as Word, Outlook and Excel
