Additional School Requirements:

The following conditions are mandatory for obtaining a visa to teach in Harbin, China:

2-years' teaching experience
A Bachelor's Degree or higher
Citizenship from one of the following countries: United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Australia, South Africa, New Zealand
TESOL, TESL or TESL Certificate (minimum of 120 hours, with proof)
The ability to obtain a clear background check

The following conditions are also required:

The ability to live and work abroad for a minimum year-long contract
Must be a native English speaker
Must be a non-smoker
A cheerful disposition and ability to work well with children
A flexible attitude and ability to work well in a team setting

Job Description:

We are seeking full-time ESL teachers to join our new Bilingual Department at Harbin Shunmai School in the beautiful city of Harbin, China. We will provide you with a full orientation and training upon your arrival, and help you with what you need every step of the way. Established only five years ago, Harbin Shunmai School was created to serve the local community and address parents’ needs for a modern and high-end educational experience for their children. The new Bilingual Department and English Program encompass kindergarten, elementary school, and junior high aged students and curricula. The school has a great local and national reputation, and attracts some of the best teachers in the country.

Recruitment is on a rolling basis, with a start in late summer or early Fall 2019.
