BASIS International & Bilingual Schools Chengdu opened in 2022 and serves students in Grades Pre-K – 11, with courses eventually being offered through Grade 12 and a capacity of over 1,800 students. This beautiful campus is our first to house both an international and bilingual curriculum in one location. As a Humanities Subject Expert Teacher, you establish a strong foundation of language and social science skills and knowledge. This includes Language Arts topics including beginnings of reading and writing, reading comprehension, writing process, and much more. Humanities topics include world history, American history, and beginnings of geographic awareness. You also collaborate with fellow teachers to tie in lessons with what students are learning in other subjects, such as music and art.
