About us:

Han Al International School, accredited by MINEDUC, offers a comprehensive education with an american system, from early years to university preparation. We provide both in-person and online learning, offering flexibility to our students. Our American cycle begins in August and ends in June.

Our strong educational program with an active methodology, ensures that our students are happy and resourceful, fostering their creativity, observational skills, and social-emotional abilities.

History:

With a 19 year legacy, Colegio Han Al Internacional was founded by two visionary individuals. The journey began in the year of 2000 as an academy dedicated to teaching Spanish, English, and Mathematics to Korean students arriving in Guatemala. Over the years, as the need for a more comprehensive education became evident, the owners officially established the school in 2006. Since then, the school has had over 700 graduates, all excelling in higher education and professional fields. The school's philosophy is to recognize the importance of shaping young individuals into dynamic leaders equipped to thrive in a globalized world by learning from both Guatemalan and American cultures, and thus mastering English, Spanish, as well as a third language fostering leadership skills that transcend borders.

Han Al International School believes in intellectual and academic development. We believe in providing an inclusive curriculum to challenge and motivate students to reach their full academic and intellectual potential as they acquire knowledge, learn new skills, and engage in critical thinking. Especially, we want to ignite a passion for reading in every student, through engaging and personalized reading experiences, and as result, cultivate curiosity and a deep understanding of the world.
