About European Azerbaijan School

The European Azerbaijan School is a member of the Council of International Schools and the European Council of International Schools. EAS is an IBO World school authorized to offer the IB Diploma Programme and is a candidate school for the Primary Years Programme with the planned authorization visit scheduled for the beginning of November 2016. EAS is now in its sixth year offering Early Years Education through to school graduation with a roll over 800 students. EAS has 26 international teachers along with 90 local teachers for the 2016-17 school year. EAS is a non profit project by TEAS and its vision is to develop a model school in an effort to bring change to the educational system in Azerbaijan. The Board is visionary and motivated to make the kinds of changes needed. As part of TEAS vision they have also established the Azerbaijan Teacher Develop Center to provide ongoing professional development and learning for teachers.
