Teach at HuZ Deutsche Schule Shenyang in China

The Hübschmann·Zhan School (HuZ) – German School Shenyang is one of 136 officially recognised German schools abroad in 56 countries, authorised by the German Federal Foreign Office. As the only full K–12 German international school in Northeast China, it is also currently the only school in the country offering a curriculum compatible with both the German MSA (Mittlerer Schulabschluss – intermediate school-leaving qualification) and the GIB (Gemischtsprachiges International Baccalaureate – recognised for German university entrance).

Founded in 2011, HuZ - German School Shenyang took a significant step towards full recognition by the German authorities with the signing of its accreditation agreement in the 2021/22 school year, officially becoming a German School Abroad.

In close cooperation with the German School Yangpu in Shanghai, we offer students following the appropriate educational pathway the German MSA, including eligibility to enter the upper level of the Gymnasium. Our upper secondary students are guided towards obtaining the IB diploma in the form of a GIB (mixed language IB diploma with certain specifications), which is recognised by the German educational aithorithies as an equivalent to the German Abitur.

As a school of encounter, HuZ - German School Shenyang also welcomes Chinese students who meet the academic and language requirements, fostering intercultural understanding and academic excellence in a truly international environment.
