American School of Quito

The American School of Quito was originally founded in 1940 by the former President of Ecuador, Galo Plaza Lasso and United States Ambassador, Boaz Long. The school is well-known and established throughout Ecuador and South America for developing leaders that have attended some of the top universities in the United States. Students range from Pre-K to Grade 12 and can graduate through the International Baccalaureate Program (the school offers all three IB programs). Throughout the schools 24-acre campus, there are modern classrooms, a full-service cafeteria, multiple science labs, soccer fields, and computer labs.
