Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

1. Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons aligned with curriculum standards.

2. Develop and maintain lesson plans that include learning objectives, key vocabulary, and differentiated activities.

3. Utilize a range of instructional methods and relevant technology to support diverse learning styles.

4. Create a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment that promotes active learning.

5. Monitor, evaluate, and document student progress and performance.

6. Follow up with any student absent for more than two consecutive days. Classwork and learning materials should be shared to ensure the student remains aligned with classroom progress.

7. Prepare classwork and maintain a student work file for use by a cover teacher during their absence. This should be kept updated and easily accessible to ensure continuity of learning.

8. Evaluate student work through assessments, provide timely and meaningful feedback, and prepare progress reports to support academic development.

9. Maintain accurate and complete records in accordance with school policy and ADEK regulations.

10. Establish and enforce clear classroom rules and routines to ensure a safe, respectful, and productive learning environment.
