Grace Christian Academy Taipei is seeking a dedicated and professional Middle School Grammar and Spelling Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the following duties and responsibilities:
Teaching Writing, Spelling, and Grammar to Grades 6-8:
- Plan and deliver engaging, rigorous, and differentiated lessons in writing, spelling, and grammar for students in Grades 6 through 8.
- Assess students' progress and provide constructive feedback to improve their language skills.
- Employ diverse teaching methodologies to cater to various learning styles and individual needs.
- Foster a classroom environment that encourages curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to ensure curriculum alignment and share best practices.

- One-way airfare is provided at the signing of the contract, and a return ticket is provided on contract completion.
- Housing is provided to singles and families, provided that the spouse works for the school/non-competitors.
Job Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in English language arts education with a state teaching license, and although our teachers are not missionaries, all of us have a heart for God and want to help lead our students to Christ.

Grace Chrisitan Academy is an independent international Christian school located in the Nangang District of Taipei, Taiwan. Founded in 1998, GCA serves students in grades 1–12 and provides a U.S.-based college preparatory curriculum taught in English. Daily Bible classes and a Christ-centered perspective are integrated into all areas of learning.
GCA enrolls approximately 160 students representing over 20 nationalities. Our teachers come from a wide range of countries, creating a diverse faculty that models global awareness while maintaining a strong commitment to Christian faith and values. The student–teacher ratio of about 5:1 allows for small classes and close relationships that support both academic growth and personal development.
Academically, GCA aligns its curriculum with Arizona state standards and offers a range of core subjects, foreign language options (Mandarin, Spanish, French), and electives in the arts, music, and computer science. Advanced courses include Honors and AP classes across multiple disciplines. Nearly all graduates continue to higher education, with the majority entering four-year universities in the U.S., Canada, Asia, and Europe.

Faculty are supported through division leaders, professional development workshops, and collaborative planning.
