Early Childhood Teacher
Colegio Ameritec is seeking a passionate, caring, and enthusiastic Early Childhood Teacher to join our bilingual educational community.
The ideal candidate is an educator who enjoys working with young learners and can create a warm, engaging, and structured classroom environment that promotes academic, social, emotional, and language development.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate learning experiences.
- Teach primarily in English within a bilingual environment.
- Create meaningful opportunities for students to listen, understand, and actively communicate in English throughout the school day.
- Encourage students to use English naturally during classroom routines, play, collaborative activities, and conversations.
- Foster students’ social-emotional, cognitive, physical, and creative development.
- Establish positive classroom routines and promote respectful behavior.
- Monitor student progress and communicate effectively with families and colleagues.
- Collaborate with the teaching team and participate in professional development.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Education, or a related field.
- Previous experience teaching Pre-K, Kindergarten, or Early Childhood students.
- Strong English proficiency; native or near-native English preferred.
- Experience in a bilingual or international school is highly desirable.
- Strong communication, classroom management, and organizational skills.
- A warm, creative, flexible, and collaborative approach to teaching.
