Job Description

Early Childhood Teacher

Colegio Ameritec is seeking a passionate, caring, and enthusiastic Early Childhood Teacher to join our bilingual educational community.

The ideal candidate is an educator who enjoys working with young learners and can create a warm, engaging, and structured classroom environment that promotes academic, social, emotional, and language development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate learning experiences.
  • Teach primarily in English within a bilingual environment.
  • Create meaningful opportunities for students to listen, understand, and actively communicate in English throughout the school day.
  • Encourage students to use English naturally during classroom routines, play, collaborative activities, and conversations.
  • Foster students’ social-emotional, cognitive, physical, and creative development.
  • Establish positive classroom routines and promote respectful behavior.
  • Monitor student progress and communicate effectively with families and colleagues.
  • Collaborate with the teaching team and participate in professional development.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Education, or a related field.
  • Previous experience teaching Pre-K, Kindergarten, or Early Childhood students.
  • Strong English proficiency; native or near-native English preferred.
  • Experience in a bilingual or international school is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication, classroom management, and organizational skills.
  • A warm, creative, flexible, and collaborative approach to teaching.
