About the Role

Horizon Private School is seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Teacher to join our vibrant Early Years team. We are looking for an educator who is committed to creating a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment where every child is inspired to grow academically, socially, and emotionally.

The successful candidate will deliver a high-quality American curriculum, using developmentally appropriate, play-based, and inquiry-led teaching approaches to foster a lifelong love of learning.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the American curriculum and the developmental needs of young learners.
• Create a positive, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment that promotes curiosity, creativity, and independence.
• Support children's academic, social, emotional, and physical development through meaningful learning experiences.
• Assess, monitor, and record student progress, using assessment data to inform planning and support individual learning needs.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all learners.
• Establish positive behaviour expectations and build strong classroom routines.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop curriculum and share best practice.
• Build strong partnerships with parents through regular communication and student progress updates.
• Participate actively in school events, professional development, and wider school initiatives.
• Ensure all safeguarding and child protection policies are followed at all times.
