Instituto Chapultepec is a leading all-boys school in Culiacán, Mexico, known for its strong academic culture, character formation, and a collaborative, high-performance faculty environment. Inspired by a Catholic vision of the person and guided by a relational leadership model, our mission is to educate young men of integrity, service, and intellectual curiosity.

We are currently expanding our English program and are looking to hire native English-speaking teachers for the 2026–2027 school year.

We are seeking a full-time English Teacher for Elementary. Candidates will join a dynamic academic team and contribute to strengthening our English program. This is a 10-month contract (August–June) with the possibility of renewal. We are looking for a certified and enthusiastic ESL Teacher to work with elementary students in Grades 1 through 4.. The ideal candidate is passionate about teaching young learners, creates a dynamic and engaging classroom environment, and implements student-centered methodologies such as Project-Based Learning (PBL).

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging ESL lessons tailored to students in Elementary Grades.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and student-centered classroom environment
  • Implement interactive teaching strategies, including Project-Based Learning (PBL)
  • Adapt instruction to meet diverse learning needs and language levels
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing regular feedback
  • Incorporate games, activities, and creative resources to enhance language acquisition
  • Collaborate with colleagues and participate in school activities and meetings
  • Maintain clear communication with parents regarding student development


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, ESL, or a related field
  • Native English speaker (mother tongue).
  • Valid teaching certification (TESOL, TEFL, CELTA, or equivalent preferred)
  • Proven experience teaching ESL to young learners (Grades 1–4)
  • Strong understanding of student-centered teaching methodologies
  • Experience with Project-Based Learning (PBL) is highly desirable
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills
  • Energetic, creative, and patient with a genuine passion for working with children
