The special needs programs are designed for students with mild to moderate Intellectual disabilities who have special educational, cognitive, emotional, and behavioral needs. Considering these needs, the SEN program aims to provide our students with all kinds of skills to build their mentality and personality. We aim to raise an independent human who can overcome all developmental obstacles and be a productive person helping in the community.The special needs programs are designed for students with mild to moderate Intellectual disabilities who have special educational, cognitive, emotional, and behavioral needs. DBS-SEN teachers assess and teache English, Math, Science, Social Studeies and life skills. We follow a modified American curriculum, "Common Core state standards" for English and Math. The New Generation Science Curriculum (NGSC) and the For a Better World Social Studies Curriculum (FWSSC) for Social Studies.
The SEN division accepts students between the ages of 6 and 17 who have been diagnosed with mild or moderate intellectual disabilities.
