AISB is searching for an IT Coordinator/ K-12 STEM Teacher.
IT Coordinator/ K-12 STEM Teacher ensures that a K–12 school technology infrastructure is secure, reliable, and supports instruction and operations. In addition, they are responsible to ensure student access to academic resources and platforms are streamlined and supported in classrooms through the use of school network performance and bandwidth usage. In addition, they would be responsible for STEM related courses including Grade 7 Math and one (1) AP Tech Course.
Key Responsibilities
IT Coordinator
● Cybersecurity & Data Protection
● Oversee user authentication systems and manage backups and disaster recovery systems
●Provide Tier 2/Tier 3 technical support
●Manages the FOCUS SIS platform, ensuring data integrity, system performance, and timely report generation
●Training and support for faculty and staff in use of technology systems and procedures (Google Workspace for Education apps)
● Coordinates and/or provides training to school staff in network and software use
K-12 STEM Teacher
●AP Computer Science Principles (Preferred) or One (1) AP Tech Course of Choice
●Grade 7 Mathematics
●K-12 Technology/ Digital Literacy
●Encourages student development of skills in the use of instructional technology resources
●Organizes technology resources for easy accessibility by students and staff
Qualifications
●Bachelor’s degree in Bachelor’s degree in a STEM-related field required. (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science )(Master’s preferred).
●Valid teaching certification in STEM or STEM-related field required (Preferred)
●Experience in standards-based curriculum design and assessment (AERO, CC, or equivalent).

Our Elementary wing is composed of spacious classrooms, play, and garden spaces. The Secondary wing comprises classrooms, a science lab, a workout room, and student lounge, and study areas. The Arts wing includes two computer labs, the library, a maker space, our performing and visual arts facilities, a large events terrace overlooking the river, and a catering kitchen for lunch service.
The campus offers wireless Internet access throughout.
