Northlands School is seeking an enthusiastic, student-centred, and highly qualified Secondary Mathematics Teacher to join our academic team.

Key Responsibilities
Teaching and Learning
- Plan and deliver high-quality Mathematics lessons aligned with curriculum requirements and school expectations.
- Design engaging learning experiences that challenge students and promote higher-order thinking skills.
- Establish clear learning objectives and differentiated activities to meet the needs of diverse learners.
- Foster student independence, responsibility, and academic excellence.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and respectful classroom environment that supports learning for all students.
- Use a variety of assessment strategies to monitor student progress and provide meaningful feedback.
- Integrate technology effectively to enhance teaching and learning.
- Demonstrate excellent subject knowledge and a commitment to continuous improvement in instructional practice.
- Encourage critical thinking, problem-solving, and metacognitive skills.
- Support students in developing confidence and a genuine interest in Mathematics.
Student Wellbeing and Community
- Build positive relationships with students based on respect, care, and high expectations.
- Collaborate closely with pastoral, learning support, and student wellbeing teams.
- Contribute to a strong school culture and participate actively in school life beyond the classroom.
- Maintain effective communication with families regarding student progress and wellbeing.

Job Requirements
Qualifications and Experience
- Recognised teaching qualification and relevant degree in Mathematics or a related field.
- Experience teaching Mathematics at Secondary level.
- Experience with IGCSE, GCSE, A-Level, IB, or other international curricula is highly desirable.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Commitment to student-centred learning and educational innovation.
