Join the team at the Hobby School in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. We're looking for a keen, enthusiastic teacher to teach History in an English Language Learning (ELL) environment.
The position would involve teaching history classes to students in grades 8 to 12. We look for candidates who have demonstrated the skills required for success in an international school: initiative, ability to work with children, flexibility, openness to new cultures, and experience with classroom teaching. We will consider your application holistically.
The school encourages all its teachers to run an extracurricular activity/club.
This position is a challenging yet rewarding task as the teacher will have to work with EFL (English as a Foreign Language) kids. Class preparation is required, as well as giving and checking homework.
The teacher will work closely with other teachers (international and local alike), and good teamwork skills and creativity are therefore of paramount importance.
