Job Description

Puntacana International School is currently seeking passionate and experienced Middle and High School Mathematics Teachers to join our team for the upcoming academic year. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction in alignment with the USA Common Core State Standards, fostering a dynamic and engaging learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver mathematics lessons to middle or high school students
  • Design assessments aligned with the Common Core standards
  • Monitor student progress and provide differentiated instruction as needed
  • Collaborate with colleagues to support student learning and school-wide initiatives
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and respectful classroom culture

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education or Mathematics (required)
  • Valid teaching license and/or Mathematics teaching certification
  • Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience at the middle or high school level
  • Strong knowledge of the Common Core State Standards in Mathematics
  • Experience in an international or multicultural educational setting (preferred)
