About the Position

Madison International School is seeking an experienced and passionate educational leader to serve as our MYP Leader (MYP Head). This role is responsible for leading the academic implementation and continuous development of the IB Middle Years Programme (MYP), while fostering a collaborative, student-centered learning environment aligned with the mission and values of our school.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support the implementation of the IB Middle Years Programme (MYP).
  • Coach and mentor teachers to promote high-quality teaching and learning practices.
  • Oversee curriculum planning, assessment, and academic consistency across the MYP.
  • Monitor student progress and support strategies for continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate closely with school leadership, teachers, students, and families.
  • Support accreditation, evaluation, and compliance processes related to the IB.
  • Foster a positive school culture grounded in the IB Learner Profile and international-mindedness.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Previous leadership experience in an IB World School.
  • Strong knowledge of the IB Middle Years Programme.
  • Experience coaching and developing teachers.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluent English required.

Benefit Details:
  • Immigration fees (we will make the arrangements and fees will be covered by MIS).
  • We will ask you to cover the expenses for going to your nearest Mexican embassy and to have an apostille on your Diploma.

  • Housing according to the terms of the contract.
  • Holidays:
  • ○ December: 2 weeks (approx. 10 days)
  • ○ Spring Break: 2 weeks
  • ○ Summer: 4 to 5 weeks (according to the Ministry of Education calendar)
