We're hiring a Female Personal Assistant to the Principal at Al Salam Community School.
At Al Salam, strong leadership is built on exceptional support. As an independent, family-run school with a 40-year legacy, we're looking for a highly organised, proactive professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in making every day run smoothly.
You'll be a trusted partner to the Principal, helping to coordinate priorities, manage communications, and ensure the seamless operation of the Principal's office.
What you'll actually be doing:-
- Managing the Principal's meetings and daily schedule
- Acting as the first point of contact for internal and external stakeholders
- Preparing correspondence, reports, presentations, and meeting documentation- Coordinating school events, leadership meetings, and key projects
- Handling confidential information with professionalism and discretion
- Supporting the Principal to ensure priorities are delivered efficiently and effectively
Who we're looking for:-
- Someone highly organised, proactive, and calm under pressure
- An excellent communicator with exceptional attention to detail
- A professional who can build positive relationships across a diverse school community
- Someone who can manage multiple priorities while maintaining absolute confidentiality
- Previous experience supporting senior leaders or executives is essential; experience in a school environment would be an advantage.

My own life has taught me clearly that everyone has the capacity to achieve. This lesson fuels my commitment to nurture every student’s potential, an idea that has been central to my own success. More than 20 years of interaction with children as a youth worker, teacher, consultant and principal has taught me a key lesson. Once you understand a child’s needs, growth knows no boundaries. Our duty is therefore to understand and unlock that potential in each and every child.
It is this same belief that forms the heart of Al Salam’s belief when we say ‘every child is special’.
At Al Salam Community, we have three values that underpin how we work together as staff, students and parents:

At Al Salam, one of our core values is to put our students first. That means they should be at the heart of every decision we make.
