Job Description

Aldenham Prep School Riyadh is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, well-qualified and committed Primary Class Teacher to join our growing school. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning within the Primary phase, supporting pupils’ academic progress, personal development and wellbeing.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated teacher to join a British international school with a strong educational heritage and a warm, ambitious learning environment.

The successful candidate will:

  • Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons across the Primary curriculum.
  • Teach core subjects including English, Mathematics, Science and the wider curriculum.
  • Create a positive, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment.
  • Use assessment effectively to monitor pupil progress and plan next steps.
  • Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils, including those requiring additional support or challenge.
  • Maintain high expectations for behaviour, learning, presentation and pupil outcomes.
  • Support pupils’ personal, social and emotional development.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and contribute to reports, meetings and school events.
  • Work collaboratively with year group colleagues, phase leaders and the wider teaching team.
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school through assemblies, trips, enrichment activities and school events.

We are looking for someone who has:

  • A degree in Education or a relevant subject.
  • A recognised teaching qualification such as PGCE, QTS, or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching within a British curriculum school.
  • Strong knowledge of the Primary curriculum.
  • Excellent classroom practice and behaviour management skills.
  • A commitment to high standards of teaching, learning and pupil wellbeing.
  • The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.


Experience in an international school setting, or teaching within KS1 or KS2, would be an advantage.
