We are recruiting a Primary Homeroom Teacher on behalf of our client, a well-established British school in Casablanca.
The successful candidate will deliver high-quality teaching in accordance with the British Curriculum, fostering a stimulating and inclusive learning environment that promotes academic excellence, personal development, and student wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the English National Curriculum.
- Develop strong foundations in literacy, numeracy, and inquiry-based learning.
- Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all learners and support individual progress.
- Assess, monitor, and record student achievement, providing timely and constructive feedback.
- Create a positive, well-managed, and inclusive classroom environment.
- Contribute to the wider life of the school through collaboration with colleagues, school initiatives, and extracurricular activities.
- Maintain effective and professional communication with parents and carers.
Candidate Profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and/or a PGCE (essential).
- Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
- Experience teaching in a primary setting, preferably within a British or international school.
- Sound knowledge of the English National Curriculum.
- Strong classroom management, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to high academic standards, safeguarding, and student wellbeing.
- Native-level or fully fluent English proficiency (essential).
