Job Description
Duties & Responsibilities:
- American Kindergarten-Primary transition curriculum
- Abides by all regulations, policies, and requirements of the Peoples' Republic of China and Beijing Haidian Kaiwen Academy
- Teaches the U. S. Common Core and Next Generation Science Standards
- Determines and monitors student progress
- Submits all lesson plans for normal instruction and for a substitute in the event the teacher is absent

Job Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
- (For Primary international homeroom teachers): Must hold a passport from the US, UK, Australia, South Africa, New Zealand, or Canada
- For all other teaching positions: Open to persons of any nationality
- Four-year degree from an accredited university
- PGCE or higher
- Three years of experience teaching in a bilingual school, international school, or government/state school
Preferred Qualifications:
- Include the minimum qualifications, plus the following:
- Master’s degree, preferably in education or the subject the teacher instructs
- QTS, national/state teaching license/certificate or equivalent
- Five years of experience teaching in a bilingual school, international school, or government/state school
- Candidates currently living in China are preferred
