Job Description

The Principal’s specific duties :

  • program delivery and performance support for teachers and support staff;
  • assistance with Vice-Principal with staff performance appraisal processes;
  • assistance with teacher and support staff work issues;
  • management of student behavior concerns directly with students;
  • communication with parents regarding student performance and behavior issues;
  • assistance with instructional scheduling;
  • analysis and interpretation of assessment data to evaluate the effectiveness of instruction;
  • assistance with planning and delivery of school events including field trips and extended excursions;
  • such other duties as may be assigned by the Director of Education
