Secondary Biology Teacher
Location: Rabat, Morocco
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Full-time
Our client, a well-established international school in Rabat, is seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Secondary Biology Teacher to join its Science Department.
The successful candidate will deliver engaging and rigorous Biology lessons within an international curriculum, fostering scientific curiosity, critical thinking, and strong academic outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Biology at secondary level (IGCSE, A Level, or equivalent international curriculum).
- Plan and deliver engaging, inquiry-based and practical lessons.
- Prepare students effectively for internal and external examinations.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment.
- Contribute to departmental collaboration and wider school initiatives.
- Support safeguarding and pastoral responsibilities.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Biology or a related life sciences field.
- Recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, B.Ed., or equivalent).
- Experience teaching Biology at secondary level, ideally within an international curriculum.
- Strong subject knowledge and practical laboratory experience.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- Commitment to student wellbeing and safeguarding.
