Teaching candidates will be responsible for:
- Delivering a variety of instructional strategies and techniques aligned with students' abilities to facilitate their understanding and application of mathematical concepts
- Breaking down complex problems into simpler steps for student success
- Adapting curriculum and instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners, providing support for struggling students as well as enriching curriculum for advanced students
- Helping students to develop critical thinking and problem solving skills
- Facilitating hands-on science experiences that strengthens exploration and inquiry
- Connecting science concepts to real world situations
