Job Description

Secondary Music Teacher – Rabat

Location: Rabat, Morocco
Start date: ASAP

A leading international school in Rabat is seeking an enthusiastic and collaborative Secondary Music Teacher to join its growing music department.

The successful candidate will:

  • Teach secondary music, developing students’ musicianship, technical skills, creativity and music literacy
  • Lead instrumental ensembles and prepare students for concerts, assemblies and other performances
  • Develop engaging, student-centered lessons and differentiated learning experiences
  • Select appropriate and culturally diverse repertoire
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
  • Collaborate with colleagues to further develop the secondary music programme
  • Contribute to the wider school community and support student growth


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Music, Music Education or a related field
  • Valid teaching license, certification or recognized teaching credential
  • Minimum 2 years of successful secondary music teaching experience
  • Strong knowledge of secondary music pedagogy, instrumental and ensemble instruction
  • International school experience preferred
  • Experience with a U.S.-based or international curriculum
  • Excellent spoken and written English
